About EUTF

  • Established by Act 88, 2001 SLH and codified in Chapter 87A, HRS
  • Board of Trustees oversees the EUTF and consists of five employer and five employee representatives
  • What is the EUTF’s overall goal? To provide health and life insurance benefits that are affordable to both the public employers and employees
  • Responsibilities:
    • EUTF - Determine eligibility and enroll qualifies employees, retirees and dependents into Health and Life Insurance benefit plans and collect and disburse premium payments
    • Employer - Verify employee’s eligibility, collect and distribute enrollment information and assist employee to enroll in the health plans
    • Employee - Provide current and accurate personal information to the EUTF
